Blue Jays send Rowdy Tellez to Buffalo

Toronto. - The Toronto Blue Jays have optioned Rowdy Tellez to Triple-A Buffalo. 

 

Tellez who has been platooning at 1st base with Justin Smoak   has hit .228 along with 14 home runs and 40 RBIs. in 77 games. 

 

In other moves the Blue Jays have reinstated Edwin Jackson from the 10-day injured list. Clayton Richard has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left lat strain.
