TORONTO. – This was a week of surprises in the NFL were some rebound teams went back to their old ways and under performed and will need to readjust for next week's contests.

Indianapolis got a last moment (22 seconds to be exact) 15-13 win over the Broncos, as Adam Vinatieri made a successful 51-yard field goal to seal the deal. The kick had Colts fans and team members on the edge of their seats as Vinatieri missed two opportunities earlier in the game. This is the third game this season that Denver has lost final 30 seconds.

Chicago vs. LA Chargers

A close call for the Chargers, barely winning 17-16, after a missed field goal attempt by Chicago as the clock ran out. The Bears also missed their first field goal attempt in the game. It wasn’t a pretty game by any means but let’s give credit where credit is due - Joey Bosa had two of Los Angeles' four sacks in the game, at the end of the day a win is a win and the Chargers have snapped their three-game loosing streak.

Buffalo vs. Philadelphia

The Bills and their fans felt confident going into this game, but confidence can only take you so far. Philadelphia snapped their two-game loosing streak taking the game 31-13. Buffalo unsuccessfully tried to convert with two minutes remaining in the first half, loosing the ball the Eagles took over and ended the half leading 11-7. Buffalo struggled offensively to get things going in the second half and the Eagles took flight and never looked back.

Atlanta vs. Seattle

The Seahawks come out on top 27-20, in one of Sunday’s stranger games. Seattle lead 24-0 at the half. The Falcons back up QB Matt Schaub managed to find a groove and work through the Seahawks defensive line, with a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter to get things rolling. Ultimately the Seahawks held on to the game.

Jacksonville vs. New York Jets

Throwing three interceptions and getting sacked eight times in a 29-15 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, it is clear and QB Sam Darnold and the Jets offensive line are struggling in a big way as they’ve allowed 34 sacks this season.

A triumphant return for Drew Brees! After six weeks out with a thumb injury Brees was back in action for the Saints and kept it in the win column, taking them to a 6-game win streak with a score of 31-9. With the exception of one interception by Arizona’s Peterson, Brees played a clean game and looked quite comfortable back on the field.

LA Rams vs. Cincinnati

Bengals put up 10 points in the second quarter in England, and that’s where they stopped, without a single point for the rest of the game. The Rams better but not by a land slide; got a field goal in the first, two touch downs in the second and one in the third and the score remained 24-10 till the final whistle.

Tennessee vs. Tampa Bay

Titans rallied with just under seven minutes left to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-23. Despite being up the Bucs couldn't overcome four turnovers by Winston to maintain the win.

San Francisco vs. Carolina

Major blow out alert! The 49er’s move their perfect record to 7-0 after handing Carolina a jaw dropping 51-13 loss. Team newbie Emmanuel Sanders got the first touch down of the game and everything that followed was magic including FOUR touchdowns by Coleman, Bosa with three sacks and combined team efforts resulting in three interceptions.

New England vs. Cleveland

The Patriots remain undefeated after a 27-13 win over the Browns, which also happened to be the 300th win under Belichick as head coach. Patriots defense forced three turnovers in the first quarter with the help of heavy rain. Patriots led by 7 in the third quarter, when Baker Mayfield made a half-hearted toss in their own zone which was easily intercepted. Brady made use of the gift for an easy touchdown pass to Edelman, and the rest of the game was kept to a field goal by each team.

Houston vs. Oakland

Deshaun Watson and the Texans, create a fourth quarter rally being down by 8 to come up with a 27-24 win over the Raiders. Despite the win Texans have bad news, as J.J. Watt sustained a torn pec that will end his 2019 season.

Green Bay vs. Kansas City

In a 31-24 win over Kansas City, Packer history was made as running back Aaron Jones became the first since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 to have a game with at least 150 yards as a receiver. He also leads the NFL in total touchdowns with 11, having gained two Sunday night.
