• Greets customers upon arrival; directs accordingly and answers questions accurately. Correctly calculates payments for customers

• Ensures incoming waste loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.

• Ensures customer and employee safety by observation of safety rules and regulations and ensuring proper safety gear is worn.

• Completes other administrative tasks including filing, producing reports, data entry, customer service, operational and fleet responsibilities.

• Provides general upkeep of the Scale House, keeping manager fully informed of all problems or matters requiring attention.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED

• 1 year experience in administrative work environment.

• Strong computer skills; ability to learn programs quickly and efficiently

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks

• Self-starter and able to work effectively with minimal supervision

Appliance & Television Installer

Location: Toronto/GTA

Wage/Salary: $50,000 annually      Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week      Vacancies: 3                                                                            

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be required to cover a specific geographic area and will be provided with a company vehicle. A uniform will be provided along with any tools required to perform the duties of the job. Lifting, squatting, kneeling are regular activities required.

This position will also require discussions about other company products and services to the customers (Service plans, Warranty products, and maintenance products for their new purchase).

Additional Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in appliance installation, handy man work, trades, and television mounting.

Knowledge of the use of power tools, appliance installations and basic plumbing and electrical work.

Working knowledge of Dishwasher Installations, including basic plumbing knowledge (Ex. installing couplers, shutting off valves to the different types of pipes within a home).

Working knowledge of Over-the-Range Microwave Installations, including basic electrical (Ex. installation of a power receptacle).

Ability to work with scheduled timelines.

Team player.

Attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Must be able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract.

Must be comfortable using an electronic mobile device (Cell Phone).

Able to work 40 hours a week, typically run M-F 8-4:30. There may be an occasional need for an evening booking or a weekend; overtime would apply for these situations.

Work vehicle is supplied, tools are supplied.

Evening and weekend availability would be an asset.

Crater / Shipper

Location: Toronto, ON

Start: April 1, 2019      Type: Full-Time      Shift Work: Days

Job Profile / Duties / Responsibilities:

In addition to the crating of goods for shipping, the position will also involve distribution of components through the shop, emptying of chip bins and occasional driving runs where necessary. Depending on work demands, the shift may alternate between 5:30am – 2:00pm and 9:30am - 6:00pm.

Responsible for safe crating of Moulds and components, where a close working relationship with Assembly employees and Logistics Manager are essential

Position will require regular loading and unloading of shipments

Forklift licence required

Empty plant chip bins daily

Perform Forklift safety checks each morning and update logbooks

Picture taking and logging in system of Moulds/components shipped at end of shift

Order and store shipping supplies to maintain stock inventory

Help with driving duties within the GTA when required

Maintain cleanliness in and around Paget 1 facility to include winter salting/clearing of snow around entry doors

Maintain stock of toiletries and distribute when required

Job Requirements

Carpentry / crate building experience

Counterbalance forklift experience with valid certification is a requirement

Valid G licence with clear driver abstract is required

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent required

Test Engineering Support Associate

POSITION DESCRIPTION
