TORONTO. - So far the Toronto Blue Jays have become the laughing stock of the baseball world by going from contenders to pretenders.

What has happened to the Board of Directors of Rogers Communications that has always believed in being a winning organization but it's allowing one of their must valuable assets sink to its death?

This bottom started with the hiring of the "Dynamic Duo" of Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins, who systematically started to dismantle a rebuilt team full of potential for a supposed team of the future that can't put a decent streak together to climb out of the basement.

The trade deadline has come and gone proving that the only concern of this management team is to perform a complete departure from the Alex Anthopoulos era that brought great joy to the fans.

The question that still remains is if the current transactions are part of a Rogers strategy to unload the team to the first bidder or is it just bad moves by the "Dynamic Duo"?

The fans are getting tired of waiting for either management team to do something that will ring this team to a respectable level before the Blue Jays become another Montreal Expos story.

Toronto's opening day payroll of $54,568,171 ranked 22 amongst MLB teams and with the recent trades it must have gone down at least another 10+ million which would place them in last spot.

So when is Mr. rogers going to realize that this current management team is not filling their end of the contract they signed in for. Are the fans expected to fill the seats of the Rogers Centre to watch mediocracy or do are they supposed to just buy tickets and not attend?

I hope the Board of Directors actually attend a couple of games to see the reaction of the fans as its well known that Mr. Rogers prefers to watch the Raptors, Leafs and Toronto FC instead.
